Laser
Many of our treatment steps are laser-assisted, e.g. in surgery, for gum removal or haemostasis during filling therapy, killing bacteria in periodontal pockets and root canals, and supporting wound healing. The laser’s bundled light beams have many positive effects: Cuts hardly bleed at all and heal better, as do extraction wounds; laser-assisted periodontitis therapy reduces subsequent pain; laser-assisted root canal treatments lead to faster healing of inflammations around the root tips; labial frenula can be corrected with little pain and almost without scarring. Finally, the laser is also suitable for the removal of fibromas (mucous membrane growths) and haematomas (red moles e.g. on the lips).
